First Thursday, September 3rd.

So much good stuff coming up this week. Here's another lovely invite:

Please join us for the opening reception for new work by Paul Kottke. Paul has made some beautiful oil paintings inspired by the friends and family of Valentines. Come see!

After night falls, DJ Hostile Tapeover will delight us with his awesome cassette collection of New Jack Swing, late 80s and early 90s Pop, and Hip Hop. This guy means business. Good dancing guaranteed.

Hope to see you!

AWESOMEness: September 1st

Woah, guys. This is going to be fun. Always amazing to see Jane Paik do the dance in our little place. What's more is Dragging an Ox, The Double U AND Liz Harris aka DJ Scattered Light will be DJing some of her favorite faves from New Zealand and Australia.

What a way to ring in September.

Tuesday, Aug. 25th: We swoon for these bands.

This will be a beautiful night of explorations in stringed instruments and a celebration for Sara Dyberg's gorgeous, new album. If you've never heard her play before please do yourself a favor and come see this show.

Monday, August 24th!

Wednesday the 19th!

So, good things are in the works. Our buddy, Jeremy (who does all the amazing, Lifeswells Surf Nights at our place)is surprising his friend and DJ mate, Damn I'm Thrifty with a challenge. Coming home from Tokyo with none of his own records available to him, he'll have one day and 50 bucks to find as many gems to DJ at Valentine's THAT NIGHT. This is no joke. There are no Ipods. And we shall see if Damn I'm Thrifty can hold up to the name. Good stuff guaranteed.
