Wedneday, March 31st

On Wednesday night we'll be screening the documentary, Still Bill about the legendary Bill Withers. We're really looking forward to it. DJ Toby will be playing some Soul classics after the film. Showing at 9:30pm sharp. T'is free. Come on by.

Monday, March 29th!

Awesome shredders coming through from Florida (Yay, Tubers!) and San Francisco (Yay, Street Eaters!). Come see these punks do their surf punk slip on jams!

Monday, March 22nd

Yay! On Monday we celebrate with old friends, Brainstorm who will be in the midst of touring up and down the coast. They'll be shredding with Mr. McWhirter (of EVERYBODY) and Jung Sleaths which is Brian Mumford's new project exploring non-Dragging An Ox Through Water material he's been working on. Ba-bam! Can't wait!

Tuesday, March 23rd

Hey guys. The awesome folks of Sex Life will be taking a little breather and this very well may be your last opportunity to get to see them get down for a long time. What's more is that they'll be releasing their very own cassingle (yeah, we said it) on this very special night. Bring your dancing shoes. We'll see you Tuesday!

March 18th

Serious gems.

Trippers

We've got a good one happening this Monday! Remember awesome art-punk band, Flaspar? Well, we sure do. We loved them, and now we have the pleasure of seeing what these guys have been working on this winter. New directions, people. Cheers to that. Also on this bill are Charlie Salas Humara (ex-Panther) and Maggie Vail (ex-Bangs) who do gorgeous structured yet improvisational type-a-stuff as Romancing. Acre will also be sharing some new material as he's getting ready to release an awesome new album! Should be good, you guys. Do come!

Wed, March 10th: Spirit Haunted Water

Liz Harris of Grouper and Scott Simmons of Exiled Records will be teaming up this Wednesday night to delight our ears with a large smattering of gorgeous records from New Zealand that (in my humble opinion) are a bit hard to find and completely integral. If you've ever wondered why The Clean are so amazing or simply just had an interest in the deep, stark beauty of that part of the world then this is a night that you may truly enjoy.

Tuesday, March 9th

Wowee. Some of our favorite projects happening in the here and now that all manage to capture the ether of somewhere else. And so beautifully, too. You really should come and enjoy this if you can. Psss :Definitely get there early to check out Emily and Kerby's newish project, Dusty Springfeelins. A must!

Sunday, March 7th

Oh man. Chelsea Woolf and Ora Cogan will be coming through from lush Vancouver, B.C. this Sunday. It's always a special treat to have Ora and her dark folk and shining light here. We can't wait to see Chelsea play her beautiful music. Also a perfect opportunity to see Portland gem, Galveston as well as an ever-expansive and meditative Bird Costumes set which seem to get rarer and rarer as he works on collaborative projects over time. The man truly doesn't play enough. Be here now... but on Sunday!
